Asha Parekh

Asha Parekh is a Bollywood actress, director, and producer. She was one of the top stars in Hindi films from 1959 to 1973. In 1992, she was honoured with the Padma Shri . Asha Parekh is regarded as one of the most successful and influential Hindi movie actresses of all times. She is a trained Indian Classical dancer. She tasted success with Shammi Kapoor picture Dil Deke Dekho & acted in many Naseer Hussein films. She won a Filmfare award for Kati Patang. She was mostly known to be a glamorous tom boyish heroine with excellent dancing skills. She mostly did romantic movies with heroes like Shammi kapoor, Joy Mukherjee & Shashi Kapoor.
